It has been awhile since I had the chance to post about The Happy Planner and how happy it makes me…see what I did there, totally on purpose! Now that I’m back into the swing of things I really want to get back to my original plan of Fab Planner Fridays. They are so much fun and as delighted as I am on a daily basis to use my the Happy Planner, I get a lot more use out of it when I’m posting new and fun ideas for all of you!

The Happy Planner is perhaps the most gorgeous thing I have ever added to my organizational tools!

Loving The Happy Planner is easy once you get started. I already know how amazing it is for organization, health, meal planning, fitness, and more. My goal is to share all of that with you…I’ll apologize now in case I start an addiction that you can’t control.  You have officially been warned, proceed with caution!

5 Reasons to Love the Happy Planner:

Everything from the accessories to the layout make the Happy Planner my favorite part of the work week. But more than that it has become a hobby (read: obsession) that is calming and entertaining. I love that I can share the creative and design type features with my best friends, who as luck would have it, are also Happy Planner lovers.

Layout

I’m starting with the layout of the Happy Planner because it was the most important thing for me when picking out a planner. I have had many planners over the years and not a single one was laid out properly. I have a specific set of demands and needs that my planner has to meet. If not, my days are messy and unorganized and that sort of defeats the purpose entirely. With the Happy Planner you get days, weeks, and months. They are all laid out in an organized and easy to use fashion! Each months divider page also includes a spot for important dates for the month as well as milestones. You can easily look back over the entire year with a few flips and see all of those memories!

The three block system in the Happy Planner layout really makes my life more simple and organized. My work requires me to keep a million and a half schedules running at the same time. With the Happy Planner I can keep work and personal stuff in their own blocks. Prioritize with block system or use it to plan in chronological fashion.

The Accessories

Okay, let’s get real for a second…I love stickers, pens, embellishments, sticky notes, hole punches, colorful rings, and even tiny little inspirational sayings. Everything about the accessories that accompany the Happy Planner speak to me. What is more important that that is the fact that you don’t need any accessories. There are always going to be ways to spice things up or make them more visually appealing. The Happy Planner is gorgeous right out of the box. The accessories really are just icing on an already amazing cake.

Creativity

This goes hand in hand with all of the amazing accessories that accompany the Happy Planner. I really enjoy making my planner not just beautiful but also useful. I sit down once a week and spend some time adding my favorite to do list stickers or some washi tape edges. I love letting my creativity run wild for a little bit. Everything about the Happy Planner layout encourages creativity. There is always room to doodle in the Happy Planner and that makes me smile! There’s nothing worse than a long, boring, conference call when you don’t have anywhere to doodle! These little bursts of creativity make my planner beautiful for the coming week but they also help mellow me out and give me some time to just be calm and focus on something that is not stressful in the least. I need that.

Community

I have created my own little Happy Planner community of friends and family who are also on this crazy bandwagon. More than that, there are so many people online and around the world who love the Happy Planner. There are inspirational ideas online, in groups, on social media, and more. You can meet so many new people and instantly have something in common. It you are looking for a great way to de-stress, make some new friends, and fuel your creative spirit then you’ve come to the right place!

Productivity

This should go without saying…the Happy Planner increases my productivity. You might be thinking “Meagen, that’s because it keeps you organized.” To that I’ll say this: I only use a planner religiously IF it is amazing. It has to hold my attention, keep me coming back for more, support my undying need for entertainment! I ask so little, and receive so much…Okay so that’s all a bit dramatic. The point is that this planner is appealing. It keeps me interested. I like to use it and therefore I use it more and more! I am always looking for ways to add useful and entertaining tidbits to my  Happy Planner. The creative juices keep flowing and I end up getting more work done thanks to a well organized schedule that I LOVE looking at.
