I know a lot of you are in exactly the same place as I am right now. It’s a busy time of year…every time of year is busy! I’m on the go almost 24/7 and without the proper planning and prepping that ‘on the go lifestyle’ can wear me down in a hurry. Today I’m super excited to share with you a beauty routine that I use almost constantly. I keep myself looking and feeling top notch with Centrum® MultiGummies® and this awesome beauty routine. My husband and I have so much going on right now with our families and friends. Between an in progress stair remodel project, a garage design / build project, and our best friends living with us, we are funneling energy into our jobs AND our home life on a pretty consistent basis.
Most days I have to go straight from work mode into another type of work mode. It doesn’t matter if I’m heading to an in home show or out for a night with my friends, I like to look and feel my best. One of the ways I make that transition a lot smoother is with Centrum® MultiGummies® and a quick and easy beauty routine. I’m sharing all my secrets today, I hope you can handle it!
My best friend and her husband, who happens to be my husband’s best friend, have been living with us. They’re looking for their perfect home and that alone is stressful and time consuming. I’m so lucky to have my emotional ROCK so close by now. One of the things we’ve been bonding over lately is beauty routines. Now that she sees my vanity set up and my routine everyday she wants one too! I know how hard it can be to get into a new makeup routine when you are not familiar with the process and tools. Today I’m using her as my mannequin so I can show you how simple, easy, and effective it is to start a new beauty routine!
For me, my beauty routine is a way to destress, relax, and have a little fun. Makeup is so fun and exciting. Everyday there can be something new! This beauty routine is based on helping me look and feel my best every single day. When I put on my favorite eye shadow or totally nail my winged eyeliner I know I can take on the whatever the world throws at me…I also know that I can easily slide from my day job into my nightime activities without a whole lot of extra work.
Routines of ANY kind are my saving grace. I need things to run on schedule and according to plan. My mom always jokes about how every single day since I was 2 years old I would wake up and ask “what’s on the schedule for today” because I just function better with a plan. As an adult that hasn’t changed very much. I do things the same way each day. The good news is that it works and it gives me something I can share with all of you!
My Daily Beauty Routine:
Water and Centrum® MultiGummies
My skin takes a beating. It’s cold, dry, warm, scrubbed, exfoliated, and slathered with a myriad of chemicals everyday. That’s not including all the things I come into contact with when I’m out and about in the world. Water and Centrum® MultiGummies® keep me feeling and looking my best from the inside out.

Prime and Prep
The next thing I do is prime and prep my face and eyes for makeup! You can’t have a great looking day without a great base. I’ve been dying to try the new primer I recently received so this will be a first for me in this combo. I’ve received several samples of it so I’m using it today to see how it holds up to my normal primers.
Eyeshadow primer is also important. Today I’m going to use the facial primer and a concealer to create an amazing cut-crease eye look that we’ll smoke out for the evening. I’ll also have my mannequin use a lip exfoliator to remove any dry or chapped skin so that our lip color looks great. This is a SUPER important step during the colder months. Fun fact, staying hydrated will keep those lips looking and feeling soft and supple.
Remember that makeup removal and facial cleansing are two different things. I always take off my makeup and wash my face before bed but I’ll be using a makeup removing towelette today to make sure we’re starting with a clean, dry, canvas. Today I’ll also be laying down a smooth and gorgeous base with a quality foundation. It will go on smooth and have a matte finish that will stay gorgeous all day long. I apply foundation with a brush because it looks great and blends really well. Always put the foundation on first and then use the concealer (in one shade lighter) to adjust any trouble spots!!
Tools
I’ll be using a few different tool today in my routine and you can use your own variation of these items. I’ll be using a foundation brush, an angled blush brush for highlighting and color correcting, a dense blending brush for contouring and a variety of eye brushes. They’re excellent quality and they look awesome…what more could you ask for!
Color
The last thing we have to do is put on all the gorgeous color! I’ll be using my favorite contour palette because it matches my mannequins skintone really well. I’ll define the cheekbones with the dark shade, make a fishy face and follow that natural contour as a guide! Highlight the tops of the cheekbones, the middle of the forehead, and down the bridge of your nose for a pop of shine.
I’ll also be using an eyeshadow palette that everyone has been raving about online. Another great Walmart steal at less than $6 and I’ve heard amazing things about pigmentation and staying power. An all over lid layer of the lightest shade will help make everything blendable. Next I layer in a transition shade in light pink, finally I’ll define the crease of her eyelids with a darker more sultry shade. Taking my concealer I’ll make a nice base on the lower part of the lid, this will help the lid color stick and POP! Dab on this shadow, don’t drag it across the tacky concealer. Also make sure there is plenty of color on your brush!!
My selfie powders palette is my main go to palette. This might be my second or third one now…It has all the colors I need to brighten and color correct at the same time. It removes under eye bags, sallowness, and it gives a nice calm glow without any extra muss or fuss. Apply a banana powder under the eyes to brighten and correct any dark circles. If you have a bit more time you can always use an extra layer of concealer with white setting powder to create a very light and highlighted look under the eyes.
Finishing Touches
I also do my mascara and liner last. They’re the final touches on my masterpiece everyday! Liner can be tricky but the brush is the key. If you have a good brush you can make any liner look good. If you don’t feel comfortable with liquid liner just use a self sharpening crayon liner! They’re easy to apply and they look just as good with a little help from a smudging brush. Finally I swipe on a light dusting of setting powder and finish with a setting spray. I use whatever is on sale honestly. This doesn’t work for everyone but it does work well for me. Use whatever works best for you.
Glam it Up – Smoke it Out
For a night out on the town I could easily just go with the makeup you see here. My simple beauty routine is pretty easy and works for almost any scenario. The great thing about this palette is that it comes with some awesome smokey shades! To glam up my look and smoke out my eyes for the evening I just take two of those end shades and add it to my already awesome eye look. Swipe on an extra coat of volumizing mascara and I’m ready to go again!
