Mud Mask Monday in the Kitchen
Mud Mask Monday always seems to sneak up on us! This week our mask comes straight from the kitchen. For Mud Mask Monday in the Kitchen I wanted a homemade mask that I could quickly whip up, because I really needed to relax after this typical hectic Monday. This simple oatmeal mask is made with 4 ingredients that are probably in your kitchen right now!
I have combo skin. One day it is super oily and the next day it has dried out. It’s always a battle to find the right combination of moisture and toner. This specific mask is great for anyone out there that has any skin type.
Now onto the recipe!

Mud Mask Monday In The Kitchen Recipe:
I used steal cut oats, because that is what I had in my cabinet. I ground the oats in the food processor so the grains were more of a powder. Then just mix all the ingredients together and feel free to improvise! The recipe makes enough for about 3 masks.. can you say girls night?! I will admit, I was nervous when I saw olive oil was in this mask. My first thought was it would make my face more oily than it already is. I was wrong!
I left the mask on for about 20 minutes… after taking a few mask selfies! Here’s a tip.. rinse the mask off over the kitchen sink. The oatmeal is chunky and you don’t want that all over your bathroom. I would highly recommend this mask to anyone looking for a quick and easy mask! My skin feels so smooth and not oily at all. I will definitely be making more mud mask out of fresh ingredients from my kitchen… maybe avacado yogurt mask next week?!
