It’s been a minute since I did a post about products that I’m really enjoying. I also recently started making an effort to pay attention to skincare. Skincare is important and even though I still feel relatively young so putting more emphasis on skincare is kind of preventative for me. There are a few skincare items I’m loving right now so I wanted to share them with all of my great readers!
Skincare is important, even for millennials and younger people. These are easy to use skincare items that I’m loving right now!
Let’s be honest: I never paid much attention to my skin. I’ve been blessed with naturally clear skin for the most part. The occasional blemish and some redness when I’m warm but other than that I never had too many issues. In the last few months I’ve noticed some texture changes in the skin on my face. I wear makeup pretty regularly so I thought it was time to look into some easy to use products that would give me some anti-aging results without too much fuss.
Skincare is so important. It’s our largest organ and if we don’t care for it now, while we can, it might be too late. Keeping skin looking and and feeling great is important for overall good health and wellness. I try and keep skincare in the forefront of my mind to avoid issues down the road. I don’t particularly like the thought of skin cancer and it has become all too commonly lately! By taking good care of my skin in AND out of the sun I’ve been able to pay a bit more attention to my health in general which is an added bonus.
Skincare Products I’m Loving:
You might already know that I subscribe to a bunch of different beauty boxes. I’ve been part of the Sephora Play box, Boxycharm, and even the Target beauty boxes have found their way here over the years. When my points with Sephora build up I usually go on a buying spree with points items. I lucked out when I stumbled upon the Algenist Genius Anti-Aging Creme.
I got it with some rewards points, it’s the super small travel size but it’s been holding up. I used it for about a month before it was all. In the back of my mind I know that skincare is important for long-term skin health but I always thought it was something I could address when I got older. When I started using the Algenist Genius Anti-Aging Creme I noticed a big different RIGHT AWAY. Yes, right away. I put it one just once a day at the beginning and even one application a day gave me softer, more plump looking skin. With a few weeks of use I’ve noticed a change in my skins discolorations as well.
I struggle with covering up redness typically and lately I’ve noticed a more even overall skin-tone. This is a blessing for me because when it gets hot I’m prone to skipping my makeup routine. Now, lets talk about cleansing.
I LOVE the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea H2O Gel Cleanser. I remove my makeup with regular old Olay makeup removing wipes and then I use the Tarte Rainfores of the Sea H2O Cleansing Gel when I’m in the shower. After I wash my skin with this miracle stuff I swear it feels so hydrated and happy. It leaves behind almost a film feeling of moisture and hydration. I lock all that goodness in with the Algenist Anti-Aging Creme and I’m all set for the day.
The great thing about both of these products is that they come with a line of matching skincare products. If you are diving headfirst into the world of skincare you may wish to just go with the full line of products from either company. They offer serums, cleansing products, hydrating cremes and moisturizers, and even specialized treatments for dark spots, etc.
Hopefully you can find a way to try out these great products before you buy. They’re available in their smaller sizes for a more cost effective trial period. Everyone has different skincare needs. While these are skincare items that I’m loving, you may not see the same success. Try the Tarte products out with this kit, and the Algensit products are available here.
